The three systems also use different ways to wake up the driver's attention, as well as different upgrade sequence and fault safety measures. For the use of advanced driving aids, the IIHS screening system all uses sensors in the steering wheel to detect when the driver puts his hand on the steering wheel. The difference is that the Cadillac SuperCruise allows drivers to move their hands away from the steering wheel for a long time.
